About the kitchen

Set in our humble abbot with minimalist modern design, Alison Casual Dining is served to you by Alicia & Derson (My Husband). We are a couple who fall in love through cooking together (our daily evening hobby & weekend activities are spent in the kitchen!). Our cooking inspiration comes from the food that our mums cooked us when we were young, recipes from one of the finest french culinary course that we've attended & tastes from places that we have stayed before in Scotland, Australia, China & Taiwan. We like to experiment with different kind of recipes & create our own recipes - applying traditional slow cooking methods from both the east & the west to bring you the perfect healthy quality comfort food.

Come dine in our home, experience our love story & we promised to give you a memorable yet comfortable meal with your love ones.

We are a newly wed couple who love to host house parties. One day, our friends suggested that we should consider doing private dining so that we can share the food that we cook with more people! So, here we are opening our doors to anyone who love a good home cooked food.

In 'Alison's Home', we live by the principle of "Living an Optimistic, Vibrant & Enthusiastic Life".

Apart from a passionate home-chef, we are also a proud owner of a cute poodle named Spikey. I work as a self-employed trader, selling health food & supplements. In my free time, I like to blog about homemaking (sharing my learnings of 'KonMari' organizing methods & some 'easy-to-make' home recipes) & read books from some of my favorite authors such as Brene Brown, Gretchen Rubin & Murakami.
