About the kitchen

I always loved to eat and I am blessed to have parents that do know how to cook :). I am happy I've got to learn cooking from them. My dad always dreamed of having his own restaurant and even if I can't really buy him a restaurant I can definitely help him follow his dream through PlateCulture :) Welcome to Malaysia and Au's family kitchen!

A usual meal in Malaysia is a combination of 2 to 3 dishes that are served with rice. Malaysian people generally like spicy food.

Be mesmerized by:
- The famous curry chicken that goes with the rice (if you are not a fan of spicy food you can try our steamed chicken),
- Sweet and sour pork and chicken with ABC soup and some mixed vegetables.

My Mum will serve you the best red bean soup in the world! The dessert will be served after the meals. The dishes may be a surprise or you can ask for something in particular.

We can arrange pick up at the train station and it is complimentary. Malaysian hospitality, you know!:)

    I am passionate about food! In other part of the World people talk about weather, in Malaysia it is about food. Food brings people together. I am very adventurous when it comes to food. I am also very blessed because my parents can really cook. I pick up a little bit from them but they are still the best cooks for me. I work for Nestle Malaysia, one of the biggest food companies in the World. It coincides with my hobby - I like to eat :). I like to travel and my recent mission is to conquer the Europe. I like the feeling of throwing myself into a new environment and embracing new experiences. By meeting and talking to the locals at foreign countries, I tend to understand the world and myself a little bit more.
