It was really an enjoyable dinner. This was what we expected as a home chef - warm welcoming, not too commercial, food was absolutely delicious and really more than enough, but that's the culture of Turkey welcoming guests, explained the chef.
Chef Erdal is a natural in the kitchen and his passion shows in his delicious food. Our party enjoyed every dish. Everything from the menu, set up, directions, and house rules were exactly as described and lived up to our expectations.
This is my first experience to use plateculture. Dinner at Chef@home is absolutely an amazing experience!

We were very lucky to be hosted by Erdal. It was a finger licking and authentic turkish cuisine. You will get served like how you would had in a fine dining restaurant. I have tried a lot of the regional cusine when I was living in Middle East, yet this dinner surprised me and set a new standard for me. I definitively will come back for his other menus.
Me and my boyfriend had a incredible time chatting with Erdal. He shared with us his fond of Turkish cuisine with passion. This experience totally represents how plate culture is like- cultural sharing through home dining experience. We need more home chef like Erdal!
His balcony overlooks the repulse bay beach. The night we went was drizzling a bit, super romantic and surreal!
It was a great Authentic Turkish meal. The dishes are prepared with the 2 most important ingredients of the Mediterranean food-very good olive oil and spice. The vegetables are fresh. The meatballs are perfectly cooked with a slightly pink center and a well done shell. I also like the fact that the whole meal is on the healthy light side compare to the conventional Mideastern/Mediterranean cuisine-which tend to be heavily loaded in olive oil especially the appetizers/vegetables. Chef Erdal is also well traveled like us. We enjoyed talking to him about the cultures, histories of the places we all visited. A evening of good food and good company. Highly recommended.
