About the kitchen


Me and Bronte are both Capetonians but love Western food with an Asian twist.
So will most likely indulge your senses with:
- A Thai Tom Yum soup starter followed with a Roast Harissa Salmon with Lemony giant couscous in summer.
- In winter a Mung bean spicy lentil Dal starter paired with slow roast shoulder of lamb and an apricot and cumin couscous served with braised leeks as a side veg.

This fiesta we round off with sorbet or a wonderful coffee and after-dinner mint chocolate thins.

All we ask you to bring along is your own bottle of wine which we chill while you enjoy an aperitif and some fabulous conversation!

    Two of us will be hosting. Me and Bronte are Masters of our Craft: 1 aviation/services management and 2 archaeology-conservation.

    I've been a secret foodie in family and friendship circles for over 20 years, most find my basic dishes very more-ish. I think its the Cape inspiration with an international twist, but the jury is still out on Plate Culture!
