About the kitchen


Cuisine Type: Its Global Food! I apply different cooking techniques and prepare a spread that shows influence from few different cuisines - but it goes well with each other!

I use food to express my creativity and diversity. For example, I love Chinese food but I often cook Chinese food with a touch of Malaysian/Indonesian cooking techniques (similar to Baba Nyonya).

Or I can prepare couscous with the Asian touch and have Mediterranean/ Italian salad to go with it!
Or imagine north Indian food i.e. homemade chapatti with green dhal and Malaysian-style spicy sardine to go with it.
Main dishes can range from:
- Spiced couscous with raisins and almonds to go with Spanish style chicken,
- Thai style steamed Fish with Malaysian Ulam/salad,
- Hyderabad Biryani with Chicken Rendang,
- Spicy Sardine and Green Dhal Chutney to go with Chapati and homemade spicy lamb meatballs in gravy.

On Saturdays I host both lunch and dinner events and on Sundays I only host dinners.

    I've caught the travel bug since my first trip to Amsterdam in year 2008, since then I have always been in the look out for interesting places, good food and new friends. Travelling is one of the best ways to understand different culture, food, people, tradition and history.
    The 5 things I love the most in life are travelling, cooking, meeting new people, exercising and of course hosting parties! I am a big foodie, I love almost every cuisine with my all-time favourites being Italian, North Indian, Chinese and Japanese. My favourite travel destinations are Berlin, Sicily and New York. I have a special connection with New York as I worked and studied there.

    Having me as a Home Chef is going to be fun, interactive, interesting (I mix and blend different ideas & techniques for unique recipes) and memorable!

    My life motto is about impacting and motivating people to reach their fullest potential!
