About the kitchen

Baking is a passion we Sugar Fairies (Mum, Puneeta & Kaveeta) share. When we step into The Kitchen of The Sugar Fairies, everything is perfection & handled with care. Cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, puddings, pizzas, buns, bread & pies & the list goes on! Imagine sitting in our cosy kitchen & having a glass of iced latte accompanied with a slice of moist chocolate cake for breakfast... Care for a cup of steaming masala chai served with a samosa & some chutney? Maybe a slice of extra-ordinary brownie & some quiche for hi tea? Feeling hungry at 2am? Never fear cos the fridge is stocked up with Nutella cinnamon rolls to serve as a midnight snack! We're constantly experimenting with recipe's and discovering new cuisines of the globe. Punjabi & North Indian dishes like chapatis, dhal & chicken curry are some of our daily preparations. Some Asian spicy laksa perhaps? Or would you prefer Mexican quesadillas? Italian farfalle carbonara maybe? You name it, we make it! Whenever in doubt, we refer to our culinary consultants like Chef Wan, Nigella Lawson, Jaime Oliver & Ravinder Bhogal. Holidays & festivals to bake for, family & friends to feed. Our blessed & beautiful kitchen is our source of inspiration!

  1. Bio

Pharmacist by profession. Baker by passion. And it's all thanks to my beautiful mum for instilling this passion for baking into both my sister & myself from a very young age. Mum would put on aprons for the both of us & let us play around with cookie dough & even her Kenwood Chef. I also love to travel to other countries & try different cuisines around the world. Experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen laboratory is something I do over the weekend. Come join us over the weekend for high tea (4pm-7pm) or dinner (7pm-10pm).
