Chef Rene's aim is to give you a very personal experience of the true taste of traditional French cuisine. He is enthusiastic to assist you into the fun world of French cooking including the starters, main courses, desserts, bakery, etc...
He also provides:
A. Regular French Cooking Class
B. Fun private dinner parties (from 6 to 18pax)
C. Basic French Course
D. Teenagers Cooking Class (from 9 to 14 years old)
E. Course for domestic helpers
He is desirous to share the knowledge of great recipes (including SECRETs) and his special techniques of classical and neo-classical French cuisine. Chef Rene can also bring you a positive atmosphere and like being at home.

    Chef Rene-Etienne has over 35 years experience in French cuisine. He is an Executive Chef and also a full time Chef instructor in French Cooking Class. He had appeared on TVB Jade culinary show 'Original Food' and featured in numerous local newspapers and magazines such as Sing Tao Daily, Apply Daily, Hong Kong Walkers, Hong Kong Magazines and U Magazine, etc...

We had a great time at Chef Rene’s place. The food was great with good portion. It is a kitchen studio in a commercial building. So it’s more spacious.

Had a great meal at Chef Rene's kitchen a few weeks ago. This is not a cramped HK apartment - it's a spacious, clean cooking studio with a nice washroom near the entrance. Chef Rene was very gracious and is a great host.

The kitchen is conveniently located close to Sheung Wan station. It's a cosy cooking studio with a nice long table for dining. The open kitchen allows you to observe chef Rene-Etienne preparing and plating each dishes in front of you. He is able to cook and still talk to you at the same time. Chef Rene-Etienne has over 35 years experience in French cuisine, and it shows with each dish he prepares, he prepares them with so much ease. Each dish was done in perfection and was really tasty. Classic French chef serving authentic French food, what more can you ask for?
