Hi all, My name is Madiha and I moved to Hong Kong almost four years ago with my husband Saqib . We are from Pakistan but have lived for a few years in the middle east. We love to meet new people and make friends. We both are foodies, love to cook and love to travel. I baked my first cake when I was in the 7th grade and found my passion to cook and bake. I love to try out new recipes and experiment with traditional Pakistani and continental cuisines. My dream is to start my very own catering service one day :).

What an absolute treat! We booked this for our anniversary and it was such a nice experience, I was so grateful we did.
The food was AMAZING I wanted to eat more but was so full I couldn't! Madiha's home is cozy and tidy and she and her husband made us feel right at home.
We chatted about lots of things and got along very well. They were so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable.
Madiha's food was better than some restaurants we've been to! And very affordable for such a tasty and unique experience. Strongly recommend her!

I had a wonderful lunch with Madiha and Saqib. Lovely company and great food. A nice selection of dishes and Madiha's homemade chutneys and sauces were especially delicious. Madiha was careful/ considerate to ask about (and accommodate) spice level and dairy restrictions prior to our meal. I look forward to eating her food again.

Four of us dined with Madiha in May and enjoyed delicious authentic Pakistani cuisine. She gave us a choice of dining options [vegetarian, non vegetarian, or BBQ] when we booked our reservation and we were most pleased with all of the dishes served-vegetable somosas, lentil biryani, spicy eggplant curry, chicken curry and for dessert kheer rice pudding. They were all most unique from each other and delicious. I have a gluten sensitivity and Madiha was most accommodating. She even made me a unique rice based “naan” when the other three in our party had the usual bread recipe. Spices were adjusted accordingly and our choice of medium was perfect. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed but we were offered a choice of water and soda. We had not experienced Pakistani food prior to this evening and we all decided it is a favorite! We very much enjoyed having Madiha and her husband Saqib share the table with us and it was a delight getting to know them while we ate such a lovely dinner. We would definitely book with Plate Culture again and most surely dine again with Madiha. She paid close attention to every detail and was very concerned with our comfort in every way.

Madiha is a passionate cook and it shows thru her foods. We were welcomed with a feast for our eyes as well as our taste buds.
It was first time for us to try a home cook experience and we were not disappointed. Madiha catered to all our wishes including a vegan in our family.

We started with a few samosas along with some tempting dips, all of the were full of flavour to get our taste buds tingling.
Followed this up with a feast of various curries with meats and vegan options which was topped off by a fantastically sweet Gajjar Halvah. There were no complaints from the kids and the adults were delighted by everyone enjoying the distinct and different flavours Pakistani style cooking.

I would highly recommend that everyone try Madiha's cooking to tickle your tastebuds. Its similar yet very different to Indian flavours with a character of its own. With her flexible approach to accommodate those with dietary restrictions, Madiha's kitchen makes for an easy evening out. We look forward to returning back to Sai Kung and trying Madiha's creations again.

Thank you Madiha and Saqib for making us welcome in your home.
