A language and communication skills lecturer by profession, a mother of three and a mother-in law to one. Born in New Delhi, India, but married to a local. I consider Malaysia as my home now, even though my heart is in India. My parents live in the US and I travel to India, US, Singapore, Thailand frequently. I live In Petaling Jaya, right next to the home where my husband grew up. A few of my favorite things are food, traveling and reading. I am an absolute movie buff and Hindi cinema and music is my life! I want to travel a lot more and if possible, involve my children in those travels as well. I love Hindi. Urdu poetry and I do write some poetry on my blog too.
The spices used never over powered the main ingredients of the dishes. In fact it was a perfect balance which allowed me to savor every bite, especially the prawn curry. Had three rounds and wanted more.
Will definitely be on my bucket list.
Neera welcomed us with so much warmth. The appetizers served were spot on in their taste and originality. Her main course was of course her piece de resistance, having a little bit of Punjab served up on the table. Being vegetarian, I was spoilt for choice with the chole (garbanzo beans) curry being the tastiest of the lot. She is the true thing!
The food prepared was good and tasty. I like the hospitality rendered and felt at home. The host is really friendly and I felt just like being in my own home.I liked the appetizer and the desserts the most. That was something different. I love Indian food and the combination that night was perfect.
