It was a first PlateCulture experience for my friend and I. And I must say, it was exactly what we were looking for! An opportunity to gain a cultural experience, accompanied by great food. Neha is a a great chef who makes delectable home cooked meals and not to mention a wonderful host. She and her husband made us feel welcome in their family home. We had the banana leaf lunch and it was totally different from any Indian meals we've had in restaurants around Malaysia. Each dish presents it's own unique flavour and when combined together makes a delicious meal. 2 thumbs up! Will definitely be back for more!
Had the most amazing time here. Lip smacking delicious food, clean and cozy home, very delectable, friendly and down to earth company... what more you need for an amazing dining experience. You get more than value for the money. I would recommend this dining experience to everyone who wanna have a good dining experience.
It was our first experiance. Its amazing and wonderful dinner. Warm welcome by nice coffee and ended with sweet payasam. My whole family enjoy the real keralan banana leaf meals. I will going again. We love the food and them.
It was a wonderful experience.This is my first plateculture experience and chef neha and her hubby was so friendly and welcoming.She explained how she cooked each food and how also explained their India culture from India..The food was awesome.We couldnt stop eating..The fish and prawn esp,blew me away,too delicious..She prepared us with 6 other vegetables and each one of them taste super food,esp the Kadai vege..i feel in love with her pal payasam.im still not over the taste..Cant wait to go back there with family n frens..The price is considered cheap as well..well done chef..
I will keep this simple. It was my first plate culture event and I went with 3 friends and it was amazing. The food was just absolutely scrumptious and the hosts Neha and Santosh are extremely friendly, pleasant, charming and intelligent. Amazing Keralan cuisine served typically on a banana leaf. Both hosts are Keralan so food is real Keralan unlike the nonsense Keralan you get in restaurants like in the Keralan in Petaling Garden....M&M, for example..... The chicken varuval, avial, sambar, salad, ginger chutney and payasam were simply amazing. I am already planning a return trip with a different group of friends. This experience is definitely worth repeating several times. I wish I had Keralan food everyday!
