Sav took us through a tour of Indian cuisine from various regions. Each dish was uniquely delicious. From the starters to the many savoury courses to the desert, the food was expertly crafted and presented in a warm and welcoming environment. Sav made an exceptional dal which was a crowd favorite - though it was difficult to choose a favorite. The starter and the desert was in the running too! We could tell that Sav loves to cook and loves to share with others. She was most kind and professional. She made us laugh and smile while respecting our (the guests') time together as we celebrated my wife's birthday. It was an unforgettable experience.

A great location on the quieter south side of Hong Kong Island made for a nice relaxing atmosphere at Sav's Spicy Kitchen. With her daughter taking on the role of waitress and Sav coming out to explain each dish - it really did have a homey family feel to the evening.

The starters came thick and fast, each one filled with different spices and textures. The Pani Puri in particular was amazingly delicious. It was pleasant to take a break after the starters whilst enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony before indulging into a beautiful chicken curry for main course.

The evening was finished with a dessert plate that filled us to the brim, as it was too good not to eat. Would highly recommend Sav's Spicy kitchen for a dinner party with friends or family, whether a fan of Indian food or looking to discover it! 😛
