Seema and her husband are an absolute delight to meet and the experience was awesome for us. The conversation flowed very easily and little did we know that Seema is famous in the cooking world here and has appeared in the Tourism Malaysia magazine. The house and kitchen were clean and hygienic and the food was absolutely delicious. It is like the other reviews I read said before we went to Seema’s, it is the best Indian food here outside of India.

Homemade cheese (paneer), homemade samosas, homemade bread (puri), homemade sauces and condiments and on and on. It was all quite impressive and delicious – I've only had these in restaurants, but Seema's food was better than any restaurant around. I am/was still talking about those samosas days later!

Seema and her husband were the consummate hosts, greeting us with welcoming drinks and chat before dinner. I had a vegan, dough-covered biryani while the others had a vegetarian version with the homemade paneer. We were offered to eat as much as we like, so I binged on those oh, so delectable samosas and side of saffron rice. Mouthwatering. You could taste the saffron (and other spices) in every bite of the biryani and tell high-quality ingredients were used. It was so good to have vegan versions of Indian food. Even one of the desserts, gajar halwa, was vegan.

After dinner, Seema showed us her spices that she brings from her trips abroad in India. Quality spices that can't be found in Brickfields or anywhere in KL. It was nice to know that she really cares about the standard of food she serves her guests.

A few of us plan to book cooking lessons with Seema. Her food was so good, I'd gladly eat the exact same meal again and again. It was excellent value for money and on the level of the posh Indian restaurants (from my experiences in Dubai, KL, etc.) around the world!

The food was top notch quality served with high class ingredients. I could taste the difference in the lassi, paneer, etc. I informed Seema that it was my boyfriend's birthday and a cake was specially made for him with music candle.. appreciated the effort! Will definitely come again

I'm not joking. This was probably the best Indian food you can get outside India. Everything was freshly prepared and home made. No ready-made food or artificial add-ons. If you want to eat traditional, her kitchen is the place to be ;-)

We had a small birthday celebration at Seema’s, and it was so great. And I must say Seema has opened our eyes to delicacy of Indian Vegetarian cuisine. Seema has used spices and ingredients she has collected, and tailored suiting to our preferences and tolerances. We are not even sure if the spices are available locally. We were all amused by the tasty and delightful dishes.
Seema was careful and attentive to all our requests the whole night. Despite there was eight of us, she made sure that everyone was fed well. She had even custom made us “Alphabet Poori” with our initial, like how she used to make for her children.
Dinner with Seema was a pleasure, and I definitely recommend this to those who has skeptic to wonderfulness of vegetarian.
