The Good Korean Kitchen is located in Kennedy Town, just 4 mins walking distance from Kennedy Town Station. Try The GKK at Chef Yeri's cozy ocean view apartment.

=======PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE BOOKING============

- The GKK serves a home style meal, it is not a fine dining kitchen.
- Your reservation will be completed after the payment.
- Each group can use the table for 2.5 hrs, the kitchen closes at 10pm.
- The GKK only takes reservations for 4 or more people (caterings can be more flexible).
- The GKK is in the residential building. Please tone down the noise and thanks in advance.

    The chef was born and raised in South Korea. She was sent to study in Toronto, Canada, when she was sixteen and she's never stopped exploring the world since then. She traveled through Asia, Europe and Americas, lived in Seoul, Burlington (Canada), Toronto, Singapore, Shanghai and then moved to Hong Kong. She's in love with art, addicted to new experiences, obsessed with finding beautiful things in the world.

The house is very cosy, and has a very nice sea view as well. The host played great music in living room and place nice candles on the table, love the vibe ! Nice food and good portion, pretty authentic as well. Happy with the experience.

Yeri is not only an amazing chef but also a gracious host. We have just enjoyed a wonderful home cooked Korean meal, which was much better than anything you could enjoy in a restaurant. The food was delicious and well presented and has set a very high standard for our next Plate Culture dinner. Yeri's apartment is also spacious and with an amazing balcony with fantastic view over the harbour for pre dinner drinks. I am sure this will not be the last time I eat here. Highly recommended.

Every dishes are full of surprise in tastes and presentation. She shows her high quality of standard in food and environment. Definitely will spread good recommendation to my friends. I loved every dish Yeri made but my favorites were the rice balls, kimchi pancakes, spicy tofu soup and spicy pork!

I had read numerous super positive reviews of Itaewon online and was so excited to have Chef Yeri come to our house and cook for us today.
The food was delicious, especially the rice bombs and the bulgogi soup, and the pleasant and friendly personality of Chef Yeri was an additional plus to the perfect food!

On 8 Mar night, we came to chef Yeri’s home and experienced a real home cooked Korean meal!
Yeri was born and raised in South Korea. With warm sharing of life experience, hobbies and sweet smile, we loved Yeri and her well designed home immediately.
Yeri’s dishes were delicious, with modern style with stories and Korean culture. The bite size rice balls with shrimp, seaweed and sesame are typical favorite snacks of Korean students and contain her childhood memories. Japchae, a Korean stir fried glass noodle, looks simple but is actually very difficult to make - Koreans only have it on special occasions(like birthdays, parties)! Spicy pork belly with Yeri’s secret sauce was so yummy that as soon as our foodie leader tried a bite, she immediately exclaimed, “yummy!!” . The Chicken Potato Stew has a very well balanced flavor of salty, sweet and spicy. The last dish was Kimchi cold noodles, a recommendation from Yeri as a “must try”, coming directly from her grandmother’s recipe!
The atmosphere of the dinner was lovely. Yeri cooks and treats us with her heart, and everyone enjoyed the dinner and talking with her. Thanks to all for coming to our wonderful night at Yeri’s home! Thanks James from WE Club who brought red wine to share. We hope to see you soon!
