I'm a new cook that has fallen in love with creating bright, colorful vegan and vegetarian meals that would likely be seen in American Bistros. They also aren't too unhealthy for you ;)

Lunch would consist of rustic soups and hearty salads, grilled/baked/sautéed fresh vegetables with yummy dressings, rice, you name it! And always be finished with a dessert of course. I also particularly love the challenge of working with alternative diets including gluten-free or taking into account one's allergies.

    A recent college graduate with a degree in Anthropology, focusing on Biology and Chemistry, I'm drawn to food and food culture. I can't get enough on how food works physically and socially, and am constantly searching to know more. And when I'm not in the kitchen making food for my friends on my blog, @yummyfoodsyummydudes, I'm often outdoors, photographing my friends or working in the emergency room.

    I currently live in a rural town in Washington State, approximately an hour away from any city, which offers unique challenges in vegan/vegetarianism. This sort of remoteness often doesn't welcome alternative diets and being in love with the chemistry of food that I am, I've been inspired to offer this here and hope to share this passion with you.
