I was born in Italy (Venice) but I grew up in France until I was 17yo - then back to Italy where I studied Eastern Languages and Civilisation (Persian and Russian in my case). I lived in many countries during my 38 years of life, such as France, Italy, Russia, Mauritius, Japan, to finally come to Malaysia 7 years ago. I always loved to eat as much as to cook, and having travelled to more than 40 countries around the world gave me the possibility to expand my tastebuds and learn about different cultures and cuisines. What I love to do is to put all I learnt through my experience in my food - so my cuisine can be on the traditional side for some dishes (Italian, Spanish) and more fusion or experimental in others. I love to play with spices and flavours to bring up the best from a dish and create new flavour - and I'd say successfully as per the feedback I got! I love all kind of cuisine but I usually focus on Asian cuisine (Japanese, Korean, Thai, Malaysian all types, Indian), while going toward West, some Iranian, Middle Eastern, Italian, French, Greek and Spanish dishes dominate my choices. I've been told my guacamole recipe is the best ever eaten by so many people I started to believe it myself. If you're someone who's tired to eat dishes that are easily find elsewhere, I invite you to try something new with me! I live with my partner and 2 beautiful cats in bangsar South - Kerinchi, and I make a point to always cook things that are not only delicious, but also beautifully presented.
